The article presents the results of a study on the theoretical and pedagogical foundations for
enhancing the physical activity of middle school students in a general education school setting. It also
examines approaches to addressing this issue through the use of traditional Kazakh national movement
games adapted to the conditions of the modern educational and воспитательный environment. The
author identifies the pedagogical conditions necessary for increasing the physical activity of middle
school students within the educational process through the integration of traditional Kazakh national
movement games. Particular attention is paid to their educational, health-promoting, and developmental
potential in shaping students’ personalities and fostering their overall development. The study employed a range of research methods, including the analysis of scientific, methodological, and specialized
literature, pedagogical observation, surveys, pedagogical experimentation, and mathematical processing
of the collected data. The findings demonstrate that carefully selected and systematically organized
traditional Kazakh movement games contribute significantly to improving the effectiveness of both
educational and воспитательный processes, while also increasing the level of physical activity among
middle school students. Furthermore, the use of national games has a positive impact on students’
physical condition, promotes health enhancement, supports harmonious physical development, and
improves their motor skills and physical fitness.
